Dream of: 31 March 1995 (2) "Wrecker"

As I was walking outside a little restaurant which looked like it might be at a truck stop, I saw four or five fellows sitting at a table and thought I recognized them. I backed up and walked over to the table. Sure enough, Pollit (a former Portsmouth acquaintance) was one of the men, and I spoke to him. He seemed quite friendly and I talked with him for a while. Just as I was about to leave, I asked him about Ramo.

He told me Ramo was still living with his parents at the same house in New Boston. He also mentioned that Ramo didn't have a car, and that Ramo's father, who had several cars and a wrecker, wouldn't let Ramo borrow any of them. He also mentioned that Ramo had quit drinking alcohol a while back. As I turned to leave, I suddenly turned back around and asked if Ramo still smoked marijuana. Pollit said that was the problem. Ramo had turned into a pot head and smoked every day.

Again I was about to leave, but I turned back to Pollit and asked him if he knew where I could get any pot. Only then did I notice he had a baggie of pot on the table. He began pulling off some for a joint for me. I was so happy I could hardly stand it. It looked like it was very good pot. I told him, "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you."

I told him I hadn't smoked any pot in a very long time and asked him if he knew where I could buy some. I thought I would like to have a whole baggie for myself.
