Wheat and I were riding in a car driven by a man (about 40 years old). We were traveling along a road with a steep slope on our right. I became concerned when I saw how far it was to the bottom of the cliff; if we were to go off the edge, it would certainly mean death. As the road became narrower, I became more apprehensive. Wheat, however, seemed unperturbed and finally the driver mentioned that Wheat had already crashed once off the side of the cliff. He had landed on some pine trees which were growing on the steep slope and had escaped unharmed. Now Wheat seemed to think that should we crash, the same thing would happen again. As I looked at Wheat's complacent smile, I was sure I would never ride along in a car which he was driving.
