Dream of: 20 April 1994 "Settlement Papers"

I was in the Summerdale Drive House, located near the end of a cul-de-sac. I had arranged for Thornberg (a female Dallas attorney) and Wheat to come to the House so we could sign the settlement papers on a legal case. The House was messy inside. The wallpaper was still not finished in the anteroom and the kitchen. The Christmas tree was still up in the dining room and Christmas ornaments were lying on the table in the dining room. It wasn't customary to have attorneys come to a private residence to sign papers, but I had arranged it anyway.

When it was time, I walked to the front of the House and saw a car out front. It thought it was Thornberg, who looked as if she had black hair. But then I realized Thornberg, who had blonde hair, was already in the dining room. Apparently she had just let herself in. Still buttoning up the khaki shirt I was wearing, I realized my pants weren't even fastened. I told her I would be right back, and I walked to the bedroom to finish dressing.

When I started to go back, I could see that about a half dozen people had arrived. Several men dressed in suits were in the dining room. It also seemed that Melanie, instead of Wheat, had arrived. I headed for the dining room, wanting to finish the matter as soon as possible. After it was over I would ask Melanie to stay and show her through the house.
