The following is an actual dream included in my dream journal, and does not describe actual facts

Carolina and I had called someone to come and vacuum the carpet in the back room of the Summerdale Drive House. When the two men arrived, I still hadn't completed picking up everything from the floor of the room, and I quickly began piling things on the couch and desk. There were two sets of encyclopedias stacked on the floor in the room and I left them where they were. Coins were lying around on the floor and I tried to pick all of them up.

When I had finished, one of the men came into the room and began vacuuming while I went into the living room with the other man. I noticed that the floors in the rest of the house were also rather dirty and could use a vacuuming. I asked the man how much it would cost, and he said it usually cost about $90 when someone moved into a house. But since we had already lived here a while, it wouldn't cost as much, perhaps $75. I began thinking I  might just have certain rooms vacuumed. They would probably only cost $10 per room. I didn't want to spend the money, but the carpet definitely needed to be vacuumed.
