After restlessly tossing and turning in my sleep, I awoke only to realize I had defecated in the bed in my sleep. Carolina had just gotten up and gone into the next room, but I knew she would soon be back. I jumped out of the bed and surveyed the small, brown pieces of feces in the bed. I quickly ran to the next room to get a towel to clean it up. I returned and put the towel over it just as Carolina walked back in.
But as I was doing so, I discovered part of the feces consisted of about 10 green beans, which looked as if they hadn't even been chewed. I picked them up and showed them to Carolina. I jokingly suggested they could still be eaten. I tried to remember where I had eaten the green beans. It seemed as if it was in some kind of outdoor Hispanic setting.
