I was recounting to someone an incident which had happened when I had been a young boy. I told the person that once, when I had been 7-8 years old, my second first cousin Jeff and I had walked down a street together and had encountered a small boy younger than us. Jeff had demanded the boy give us something, and we had walked on. I told the person we had then been confronted by two boys larger than us who were helping the young boy. Jeff and I had both taken off running through the streets in different directions, but we had finally been caught.
The entire event returned vividly to my mind, and I was surprised I hadn't thought about it in such a long time. At first I was even a bit unsure it had actually happened, but the more I remembered, the clearer it became that it was an actual memory.
