In my mind I was envisioning a charge of a line of infantry soldiers which appeared to be from the United States Civil War. The line of infantry was charging against another line of soldiers standing still. I wondered what how someone in the charging infantry line would feel, facing the prospect of being shot. To avoid being shot, a person could simply fall down and pretend he had been struck by a bullet. Then the person could rise back up and shoot again.

Snapping out of my reverie, I realized some people whom I knew were gathered around me, searching for something in a small school desk. Finally they found what they were looking for: a list of names and numbers. The people were looking for the name of a person named "God." They were desperately, breathlessly scouring the list for the name "God," hoping that the man's phone number would be next to the name.
