Dream of: 21 February 1990 (2) "Extinction"

I was sitting in the living room of the House in Patriot with some other people, among whom was George H. W. Bush. I decided to talk with Bush and I called him George. I thought that was an obvious sign of how well I knew him. I began by saying that I thought that the most pressing problem facing the world today was the destruction of various species of animals. He turned up his nose as if he didn't think that was much of a problem. I pointed out that once an animal species was wiped out, it couldn't be replaced. As an example I said the saber-toothed tiger couldn't be replaced. I also thought of mentioning the great mastodons which used to be on the earth. At the same time however, I thought that perhaps someday man would indeed be able to replace animals by going back in the fossil record and using the fossils to help in creating new animals.

Finally I stood and said something to my uncle George who was sitting on the floor. I also had a golf ball which I bounced once on the floor.
