Dream of: 22 September 1989 "Department Of Justice"

While I was in what appeared to be a small restaurant, I called president George H.W. Bush in the White House on the phone. Bush was in a conference with other American officials, and I had to speak with some of them. Poland was the subject of the conversation. I had received information from Poland that Poland was ready to receive military and financial aid from the United States. It would cost the United States approximately $1,200,000,000.

I spoke with a man who identified himself as William Casey. I explained the situation to him, and I maintained that this was a great opportunity for the United States. Although it seemed like a lot of money, it was actually very little if the United States would then be able to penetrate into a communist country. I thought Casey understood the importance of what I was saying.

While I was speaking, I noticed that a fellow sitting at another table was listening to what I was saying. At first it looked as if he couldn't believe that I was speaking with those officials. But finally he began seriously listening to what I was saying.

I was in a room where Bush was seated at a table surrounded by various men. They were planning another conference. Bush was quite satisfied with the work which I had done. Finally he said I could pick any position which I wanted in his administration and that I could work in such position. I was extremely happy. I didn't know what position I was going to pick, but at least I knew at last I was going to have a job which I liked.

I thought about working in the department of justice. That way I could know everything which was going on in criminal drug cases. But I doubted I would do that. It was more probable that I would work in the international area. I began thinking about what I would like to do in the international field.
