Dream of: 30 July 1989 "Disoriented"

I had walked into a classroom where I had been taking a course in history which was being taught by a woman who reminded me of Dohoney; however, the teacher wasn't in the classroom today. Arriving late, I discovered the other students taking a test. I sat at my desk for a few minutes, realizing that the hour-long test was almost over, and that I wasn't going to have time to take it. Besides, I hadn't studied for the test anyway, and I wouldn't have known the answers to the questions even if I had time to take the test.

I left the classroom and walked around until I ran into a fellow who was also taking the history class; he reminded me somewhat of my second cousin Jeff. As we talked, I felt disoriented; I didn't seem to know what I was doing these days, and I was unsure what I was going to be doing in the future. I felt bad about not having been prepared for the history test, but at the same time I didn't know why I was taking the history class to begin with. I thought there might still be time to do better in the future, but I was also uncertain of that. Besides, it seemed as if I had also been thinking of leaving and moving to another country.
