Dream of: 28 December 1988 "Prison Library"

I had been incarcerated in a prison which also seemed like a large secondary school. At the moment I wasn't confined to a cell, but was allowed to ramble about the prison. I suspected I was only allowed to do so because no one was aware I was doing it. I was actually probably supposed to be in a cell, and so I tried to be careful that no one saw me roaming around.

The prison had an elevator which I began riding from floor to floor. I went to one floor, got off and found a rack with many comic books on it. They appeared to be Marvel comics and I thought I would like to read some of them to pass the time while I was in prison. I looked through the comic books and tried to decide which ones to buy. Most seemed to be of super heroes, although one seemed to be of some a little animal character. One super hero book was thicker than the others and I figured it was probably quite expensive. I was unsure I would buy it.

I was walking through a hall of the prison and I seemed to hear someone talking about me. The person seemed to be quite surprised that I was in prison, because the person didn't think I was the kind of person who would end up in prison. I thought to myself that this wasn't the first time I had been in prison, and although I certainly didn't like it here, I would just have to deal with it for now.

Although still in the confines of the prison, I was standing in a grassy area in front of the prison building. I was thinking about what I was going to do with my time and I began thinking about listening to operas by the composer Richard Wagner. I would like to understand some of his operas.

I noticed a glass case which had some books in it. I began looking at the titles of the books to see if I might be interested in reading one. On the back side of the case, I saw a book by Albert Einstein which included the word "Atoms" in the title. I thought I would like to read that, but I thought it was probably too difficult for me to read right now.

I was on the elevator and to my surprise I arrived on the sixteenth floor of the prison. After stepping off, I realized a large library was on this floor. I thought this might be a good place to pass some of my time if I were allowed to do so.
