The printed edition of the New-Age Bookshelf is a bi-monthly publication where we review 75-100 books. You can see the reviews as they appeared in each issue beginning with our launch month(s) of May/June, 1999 by clicking here Book Reviews We review new-age non fiction, romance, horror, (some) science fiction and fantasy. However, our main focus is still New-Age Romance Novels.
We are currently looking for prolific reviewers. For more info., click here Reviewers If you are interested in reviewing for the New-Age Bookshelf, please contact the review coordinator via email at Leslie Triplett, Review Coordinator, (or) by regular mail at: P.O. Box 631912 Houston, Tx. 77263, and request a Review Questionnaire.
A new feature for the coming months in both the printed version of the New-Age Bookshelf and our online version will be Author Updates, in which we will feature coming attractions and tidbits from authors. Authors interested in having their "news" featured here, please email the editor G. D. Triplett with any little tidbit you would like to share with your readers...it can be a project you're currently working on, a release date, etc...anything you'd like to share with readers and fans.
We are now offering in-house author pages. Authors interested in having your webpage designed and maintained by our staff, please email us for more info.
Authors, if you are interested in advertising, or including book marks and/or flyers with our mail outs to subscribers and conferences, click here for our Advertising Rates. Another author exclusive is our downloadable/printable author profile (written interview), which we call our Profile Kit--look to the left for a link to this page. If you have an upcoming or current title that fits within our theme, feel free to print this out and send it in.
Authors...if you would like to have your webpage linked to ours, please email us and we will include you on the Author Link Page
By mid-September, we plan to have our section featuring E-Publishers and E-books up and running. It's taking quite a bit longer than we originally had planned and we apologize for the inconvienience. We already feature a one-two page feature on E-books in our printed editon and have received such an enormous response from readers looking for more info. on this new publishing phenomenon, that we decided to dedicate a page to strictly to E-books. Some of the E-publishers that we highly recommend are as follows: Dreams Unlimited, which has produced some wonderful "new-age" romances such as Wicked Angels by Michelle Hauf. Another great E-publisher is New Concepts Publishing. One of my personal favorites it Hard Shell Word Factory which has published some phenominal new-age romances such as Kachima Spirit and A Warrior's Heart...just to name a few!Another great place to find E-books is Fiction Works, who recently published a fantastic new-age romance entitled Lingering Spirit. As mentioned above, more info., along with a page just for E-books is currently under construction and should be up and running by May!
Later in the month you will be able to pull up a special page we're devoting to the wonderful authors the romance writing industry has lost recently. Including the latest loss of the talented Suzanne Barclay. Please check back later using the following link to see this dedication Dedicated To RomanceThis page will be also be up and running in May.
Coming soon...the Horror Review Page. Also currently under construction is the New-Age NF Review Page
