The first class to graduate in the Seniors Basic Computer Course at the Senior Learning Center in Bayland Park was graduated on February 16, 2000. The Seniors who graduated were happy and pleased with their certificates and we all owe a thanks to Steve Radack, Harris County Commissioner Pct. 3 and to Bob Kendrick, Administrator for putting all this together. We all appreciate the new Senior Learning Center building, the new computers, the wonderful support and training for the instructors and the people that administer this program who are so fine to work with. It has been my pleasure and honor to be one of the instructors and I want you all to know how much being a part of this means to me. It has been a wonderful experience! I am eagerly looking forward to the next class. Not only are we helping these Seniors learn the basics of computer but we are making new friends in the process. This is the real reward for me.
