AN UPDATE FROM BROOKE: Please pass this along to anyone you can think of who will join us in prayer. A girl in Alexandria LA named Gloria has found that she is pregnant. And through a consultation appointment with an abortion clinic today, found out that she is 6 weeks along. She is trying to get an appointment to abort the baby on Monday. My friend that works with her has been trying to talk to her and show her that this is wrong. And has been trying to get her to see that adoption would be the best thing to do if she cannot raise this child herself. The girl has been going back and forth on her decision until today when she found out how far along she is. Now she is in a rush to get it done before she is "to far along" Please pray that God will deal with her heart and that she will see how wrong abortion is. We are praying that she will be unable to keep that appointment either due to God putting an obstacle in her way or that she has a change of heart. It is not God's will that any child be murdered. Psalm 139:13-18 clearly states that we are all special to God and that he has a plan for us before we are even conceived. FROM KIM: After last week's chemotherapy, I have had agonizing pain through my chest, back and hips. They are putting me on anti-inflammatory drugs and pain meds. They are only helping slightly. I ask that ya'll pray the pain subsides and I can keep a good attitude. Also, I ask that you add my husband, Charlie, to the prayer list. He had a neck fusion in June from a injury sustained in Iraq. We found out the vertebrae above the fusion has herniated and it looks as if he'll have to have surgery again. Thank you and may God bless each one of you!



FROM ME: I just got a text from my daughter, that our grandaughter, Jessica, who lives in California, is in the ER with some bleeding going on. It might be a kidney stone, they are not sure. And I have not heard any more. She is 22 and has cystic fibrosis so anything that goes wrong scares us all pretty bad. Please keep her in your prayers.. thanks.



FROM WAYNE C.: I was told that I can not walk on my right leg at all until I see another bone Dr. and after having surgery on my ankle. The Ligament that holds the Tibia and Fibula bones together is torn in half. My regular Dr. was saying it was my back that was making all my pain and I was saying it was not, the Dr. that I was at to showed me where the pain would be if it was my back and I told him I know and I have no pain there at all and he said it is not your back and I said I know. My regular Dr. wanted to do back surgery but that is not going to happen and those are my works. But more and likely I will be having surgery on my ankle to repair or replace the torn ligament in my ankle. Do not know when at this time. So I am confined to my electric hospital bed and my Hand-Arm powered wheelchair. 2008 I had surgery on my toes, 2009 will have surgery on my ankle both of the right leg so what is up for next year. The Dr. I saw today finally gave me something for pain what I wanted he would not give me because of what drug user do with it, so I can not get it anymore for pain and that is straight codeine.



FROM COOKIE: Kathryn's Granddaughter Stacy, fell and is in the hospital. She has no feeling in her toes. Dr. took x-ray to see how she might of broken her ankle. Please pray that Jesus will touch and heal her



FROM ANNA: Somehow I've managed to do something to my shoulder that is pinching the nerves in my right arm. It is getting pretty painful (this has happened before), so I know it will go away...it just hurts in the meantime, and makes my arm useless. Please say a prayer. Thanks! Anna



UPDATE FROM BROOKE: If you would like to pray for this girl by name Her name is Gloria. Please ask everyone you can to be praying. She is very determined that she is going to abort the baby. Let's pray that God will change her heart and that she will not keep the appointment with the abortion clinic.



FROM WORRIED MOM: My son is really struggling with his life. He suffers from serious physical and mental illnesses. He tries really hard to succeed in work and deal with his personal and health issues. I desperately want to help him with his projects, but I have not had the opportunity yet to help him succeed in achieving his dreams. It would require a miracle and some help from my employers. Please God help him with his struggles and show me a way to truly help him with what he needs and be a more effective mother.



FROM BROOKE: Those of you who know me well, know my heartache and desire to have a child. So you can understand just how deeply this burdens my heart. I just received a phone call from a really good friend who has a friend at work, who just found out that she is pregnant. She is scared and worried, and has an appointment Saturday to consult with the abortion clinic. My friend is trying to talk her around to adoption, and is even giving her my birth mom letter to help show her that her child can still have a good life if she will choose to let the child have life. Please join us in prayer that that she will choose life for this baby. And that if she is not saved that my friend will have the opportunity to witness to her in that way too. FROM GERRY: I don't ask for prayer for myself very often but I just took a shower and almost coughed until I passed out. I have these flare-ups once in awhile with this COPD I couldn't stop coughing & knew I had to leave the shower RIGHT NOW!!! Pretty scary. Almost like drowning. FROM MYRIAM: Dear people. I have not written for a long time, but I do have a couple of things to share that may come handy to those who are sufferers from various complaints. Blood clots, and heart disease are far too a common feature, please check up in Google garlic and olive oil. it works wonders with all related to cholesterol, overweight, brain hemorrhages, etc. The other is the benefits of cider vinegar and maple syrup. I live in Rosario, Argentina and cannot get maple syrup but those from the Northern hemisphere can. Bless you with it, and before closing, I covet your prayers as I have been issued an eviction against me, and I do not have a job or a place to go. FROM TAMMY: Two of my grandsons have been diagnosed with the swine flu. At this point it is not at any degree of major concern. The doctor sent them home and told the parents to treat it like the normal flu for now because they are all out of the medicine for it. Both boys are running fevers but are not terribly ill.
