Almighty God of creation, our help in ages past and our hope for years to come, our shelter from the stormy past and our eternal home. Thy faithfulness has been to
all generations and your compassion has known no end. We thank you for the great
privilege of celebrating yet another month on this earthly sojourn. We are indeed
mindful of our friends and relatives who unfortunately have succumbed to the pressures of life through death or sicknesses, but your unending mercy and love have spared our lives to proceed graciously into another month of hope and high expectations from your throne O God of blessings. We thank you for this graceful concession,and we lift you up in high exaltation and praise.
We pray that your continued protection will see us through the remaining days of this century as we prayerfully await the New Millenium of your Glory.
Let us appreciate always,that our achievements and success in life have not been
through our might or power, 'for your divine power hath given unto us all things that
pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory
and virtue '(2nd Peter 1:3). Let us therefore express daily,a deep sense of gratitude
to HIM that has delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear son in whom there is redemption even the forgiveness of sin.
Let our minds be focused on Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.Make this another glorious month of happiness and joy in our various callings in life. Satisfy us
early with thy mercy, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
We thank you O Thou that answereth prayers and unto whom all flesh shall come.
