MY AUTOBIOGRAPHY

I was born in El Paso, Texas. My family moved to El Monte (16 miles east of L.A.) in 1973. As a kid, I grew up listening to top 40 radio. K.U.T.E. & The Mighty 690 were the stations that played the music I listened to growing up. I started collecting records by the late 70's. I attended El Monte High School where I joined the marching band and played percussion. That influenced and helped me to understand records with different beats. My interest in disc jockying was growing. After recording mixed tapes to many friends, different gigs started to happen such as jr.high dances,quincenera's,weddings, b-day and just about anyone who wanted to throw a party. By the late 80's, clubs is where I wanted to work. My first time inside of Circus was in 1987 and I fell in love with the energy of the club. I was introduced to the d.j. (Fabian Vangelli) and was influenced by his mixing style ( let the record play ). Arena and Circus came into the picture in 1992 and my passion for a great party hasn't changed.......Mar of 2005 marks the date I left Arena/Circus after a 13 yr gig there. I feel so fortunate to have played there so long and have made many,many friends. Now it's time to explore other venues.......

Friday Nites(check web-site for date) - Brooklyn Nites/ East Coast,West Coast Represent
Saturday - Rage (upstairs hip hop) W.Hollywood/18+ to party/21+ to drink
Sunday - The Downlow- FUBAR- Hollywood/ For the hip hop purist
