JOB SKILLS HISTORY:
I have 14 years experience in the newspaper industry.
My duties as the South Campus editor at
The Collegian News, included reporting on news, events, conducting interviews and writing feature stories. I assisted in layout, design, team projects, and editing final copy.
Further,as the circulation and delivery supervisor and manager, in DFW Suburban Newspapers and The Dallas Morning News, I managed crews up to eight people.
My previous experience in newspaper  circulation included distribution, management, customer service, sales tracking, employment payroll, routing, mapping, and handling ABC audit proceedures while a contractor with the Belo Corporation.
I am Mac and IBM literate, this includes Microsoft Word, Office, Excel, Lotus, Works, 123, Adobe, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark, spreadsheets, database programming, building Web sites and working in HTML and DOS.
I was self-employed for 16 years and am  a motivated self-starter.
