HOUSTON FEMINIST ROUNDTABLE
The Amazon Xociety is building on a previous project by taking the initiative in forming the Houston Feminist Roundtable (a working name) to maximize the collective impact of feminist organizations here in Houston.
We would like to gather all the feminist organizations in Houston together to
introduce themselves (delegates) and their organizations. It is hoped that we'd meet on a regular basis (perhaps bi-monthly or quarterly or twice a year) to collectively develop and then articulate an agenda for the Greater Houston area while building a culture of cooperation among our feminist organizations.
We have all got to work together to organize Houston and mobilize the women
here and reverse the apathy that we see everyday. Ideally, this would
include the development of a marketing plan for feminism to halt it's
decline locally.
