Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born in Arlington Texas during Oct of 1959. I grew up in the Dallas area, although I spent a lot of summers in Phoenix Arizona. I graduated from Skyline High School in Feb of 1977. Attended 3 semesters at Eastfield Community College before joining the Air Force. 

Went on active duty during Jan of 1978, during my 8 years in the USAF I was stationed in Arizona (Davis Montham AFB), Okinawa Japan (Kadena AB), HQ ESC San Antonio Texas, Korea (Osan AB), HQ DIA Pentagon Washington DC and Bolling AFB in Washington DC. I received an Honorable Discharge in 1986 and came home to East Texas. In Aug of 86 I married the Love of my Life, Darlene Lunsford (the good looking lady beside me in the photo). We bounced around a few years before settling in Celeste Texas, where we have lived since 1994.

I write "Uncle Hiram's Adventures in Genealogy" and short stories about a small town in East Texas.  The links on the left side will take you to the various places my writing is available at.

My wife is Darlene Lunsford Hocutt she was born in April of 1967. She grew up in Grand Saline Texas and graduated from Grand Saline High School. She played in the band there during high school.

My two girls are Crystal and Ashley
