Upon a bed of cool clover,
in the heat of the August moon,
playing against an ebony night ...
sparkling with endless diamoned stars ~
our passons grew of love and desire
raging against the moment lost.
The heavens looking down upon
were we two lovers lay.
fireworks blazed with passion's beauty
from the love we shared as one.
The heavens above, in awe and wonder,
showered down their diamonds of light,
their own fireworks in the night.
And yet ...
the heavens knew they could not compare
to the fireworks of ecstasy's glow.
Lost were we in a love's embrace
where there was no existence
of time nor space.
Upon the heaven's dazzled display,
we fell into each other's arms ...
and laid there until the morn's first light
reveling in each other's charms;
filling our hearts with such heavenly delight ...
that of our profound love shared
against the heaven's sweetest shower
of falling stars in our love's honor.
Fireworks of our passion becoming one
with the fireworks of heaven's Perseids.
And this my love tis but one night
shared as one with the stars.
