
The Ruby Throated Hummingbird is located in Central Texas.We did research on it, and this is what we created.
The Ruby Throated Hummingbird is approximately 4 inches in length and has a 5 inch wingspan.It weighs about 1/10 of an ounce.It has perching feet and a long peircing beak. Its feild marks are green on top and whtie underneath.
The hummingbird 's agility in flight lets it flit from flower to flower. It feeds on Honeysuckle, Petunia, Nasturtiums, and Lilacs. It's nest is made up of leafy material from a spider's web. It's call is a short, high -pitched squeaks. It's life span is 5 yrs.
