Keep candles lasting longer by snuffing out the flame rather than blowing it out. This will also keep the candles from dripping when you light it next.

For longer lasting pantyhose, try freezing them before you wear them. Just wet, wring out and toss in a plastic bag to freeze. Thaw and hang to dry.

Use honey, both to moisturize the skin and remove wrinkles.

Sprinkle salt into a frying pan to prevent spattering.

Add 1 cup white vinegar to the final rinse cycle to eliminate lint, when washing clothes.

For a quickly drying nail polish, set both hands in a bowl of very cold water when your nails are partially dried. Or stick your hands in the freezer for thirty seconds.

Steel wool pads won't rust if you throw them in a plastic bag and store in the freezer.

Insert a nail into a potato to shorten baking time by 15 minutes.

If you have an allergic reaction to a favorite ring, just 'line' it with clear fingernail polish.

To keep cut flowers fresher longer...cut ends off flowers at a diagonal, then put in a vase filled with 1/2 purified water and 1/2 seven-up.

Zippers won't stick if you rub them with the edge of a bar of soap.

Mayonnaise is a great conditioner. Apply 1/2 Cup to your hair before you shampoo. Cover with a plastic bag and let it sit for 15 minutes. Then rinse several times and shampoo thoroughly.

Scratches in glassware will disappear if polished with toothpaste.

Before applying your perfume, rub a thin layer of petroleum jelly on your skin. Oily skin holds a scent longer than dry skin!

Popcorn should always be stored in the freezer. This helps prevent unpopped kernels.

Nail polish remover removes tar and grease from white leather shoes.
