Furinkan High School's Girl's Locker Room

The locker room wasn't occupied at the moment, at least it wasn't supposed to be. A cloaked figure hiding in the darkness had just finished closing the last locker she needed to before her plan was complete.
This little bit of sabotage would completely knock Furinkan out of the contest and she would win by default. Kodachi Kunou smiled under her cloak, knowing that the title would be hers once more. There would be no way for the Furinkan gymnastics to recover from the noxious itching powder she had put into their leotards.
She placed a small black rose unobtrusively on the window sill. A calling card of sorts just so they'd know who got the last laugh. Kodachi then climbed out of the window and laughed all the way back to St Hebereke.
Furinkan High School, Front gates
0815 AM
Brush had just arrived in the front courtyard, searching for her Airen when she was approached by a girl wearing a thick coat. As she approached she recognized the pained face of Aemi, the leader of the Furinkan High Gymnastics team.
She could tell that Aemi wasn't feeling good, she barely managed to walk up to Brush. "You've gotta help us Brush!" Aemi begged of the amazon, "Kodachi managed to sabotage the entire team just days before we defend our title from St Hebereke. We can't find the girl who beat her last year, but your a pretty good martial artist and you look just like that female Ranma, could you please represent Furinkan in the match against St Hebereke?"
Aemi seemed to want to get all that out in one breath. She was very uncomfortable as the ointment covering her affected areas was wearing off.
Brush winced in sympathy for the girl. "I'll be glad to help you beat that cheating girl. What do I have to do?"
"Just be here at two o clock next Tuesday," Aemi answered uncomfortably " The match will be in Furinkan High Schools Gym. Remember you can only attack with the gymnastics tools.. Ask Akane she's familiar with the rules too. "
Aemi began scratching herself underneath the coat. "Just be careful until then, Kodachi's been known to attack well before the match."
With that said Aemi ran as fast as she could to the nearest restroom.
Brush shook her head. "Well, I guess it's up to me, then. I need to go find Akane and ask her to teach me the rules." With that, Brush went off searching for Akane.
Just as Brush left the area, a small weasel of a ninja dropped out of the tree. " She's heading for the Tendou Dojo, I must inform the mistress!."
Sasuke ran off in search of Kodachi.
In the meantime, Brush was heading for the Tendo Dojo. She dropped in
the yard as she saw Akane practicing outside. "Akane, can you help me out? I need to learn Martial Arts Rhythmic Gymnastics." After a few moments of conversation, Akane agreed, and the duo went into the Dojo.
A few hours later, While Akane and Brush practiced in the Dojo, A leotard clad figure peeped into the window. She noticed Brush was getting her "Rhythmic Gymnastics" training from that Clumsy little cow, Akane Tendou. She almost gave herself away laughing. That little redheaded harlot wouldn't stand a chance against the Black Rose.
In the Dojo, Brush was beginning to get the hang of using the tools, especially the ribbon. "This is going to be pretty simple. I never knew this was so simple." Akane wasn't sure whether to be happy that she was teaching someone so well or to be jealous that even this newbie was better than she was. She decided to go with pride. "Way to go, but remember, Kodachi likes to cheat. She has spiked clubs, exploding balls and a razor-sharp hoop. SO be expecting ANYTHING when you fight her." Brush nodded in response, then continued to train.
Kodachi noticed that the redhead was better at using the tools than Akane could ever hope to be. This girl would be a good competitor, too bad that she would never make it to the fight.
She leapt to the awning over the entrance to the Dojo. Tossing a tear gas bomb into the building she pulled out a Huge Mallet holding over her head, waiting for Brush's head to come into view.
As soon as the bomb went off, both Girls inside thought: Kodachi! Brush built up a bit of her ki, and dashed out of the door at Chestnut speed. All Kodachi saw was a red blur, pulling a black one. But the speed also pulled the tear gas cloud out of the Dojo...
"Oh no!" was all Kodachi could say before she was enveloped in the cloud of tear gas. Dropping her mallet and coughing she barely managed to jump to the roof of the house out of the way of the tear gas.
"Well That went really Well!"
"It's about to get better, cheater." The coughing Kodachi saw Brush's foot in front of her, right before she was kicked into LEO. "Cheating weakling," Brush spat out. "Well Akane, I guess we should get back to training." The duo entered the Dojo and continued to train.
Across town Kodachi landed most uncomfortably in the front lawn of the Kunou Manor. She sat up in the lotus position and began to plan for the match. She wouldn't be able to eliminate Brush before the match, so she would have to destroy her there. NO ONE would stand in her way of regaining that which was stolen from her.
"I'll Make you Pay for all the trouble the Pig-Tailed girl caused me!" She shouted to no one in particular. She then retreated into her personal gym to train harder than she ever trained before.
Fast forward to the match day...
Brush walked into the changing room to get dressed for the match. Outside the crowds were cheering and as she came out, she saw everyone outside waiting for the match to start. Ranma and Alex were both sitting in the front row, with Alex cheering for Brush.
Tatewaki Kunou never missed one of his sister's matches. He quietly found a seat on the front row next to Alex and Ranma. With only a minimum of Arrogant comments he settled in and waited for the match.
Brush for her part managed to get ready unmolested. Kodachi had even refrained from setting the sleeping gas roses in the dressing rooms. Once she was ready and started toward the ring area, the announcer repeated the rules for martial Arts Rhythmic Gymnastics before announcing Brush's entry.
"Remember folks that the only attacks are with tools, the first person to be knocked out or fall outside the ring will be declared the loser. NOW FOLKS representing the championship Furinkan High School... BRUSH!!"
Brush entered the stage with a double somersault and landed in a gymnast presentation pose, ready for battle.
The audience applauded loudly for Brush. She basked in the glow of being in center stage.
"Well, She's defiantly full of energy, folks!" The announcer declared. "But will that energy be enough to defend her title from the fury of the black rose of St Hebereke?"
The lights suddenly went out, only one spotlight remained on and transfixed on Kodachi standing on the catwalk over the ring. She was dressed in a risqué low cut lavender dress, with a Black Rose clenched between her teeth.
"And now the Challenger from St Hebereke, Kodachi Kunou!"
Kodachi expertly executed a triple flip as she sailed toward the ring. Fireworks were going off around her as she flew down. One of the rockets went off course and sailed right for Brush's head.
Brush easily dodged the rocket, allowing it to fly out the door and down the hallway. She shook her head in annoyance at Kodachi's last ditch attempt to take her out early. "You ready to lose, cheater? Or are you still too afraid to fight fair?"
"hohohohohohohohoho My dear of course I hate to lose, doesn't every one? " She tossed the dress to the side and revealed her tight fitting leotard.
"Let this be an honorable contest among evenly matched combatants" She held out her hand for the opening shake. a slight glint reflected off the palm of her hand.
Brush saw the glint in her hand, and declined Kodachi's hand, preferring to bow slightly. "Exactly. So if you'd be kind enough to remove the trick needle in your hand, we can start."
Kodachi flicked he hand to the side discarding her high voltage hand buzzer. "No hidden needles dear! Hohohohohoho" She flipped backwards toward her corner grabbing her ribbon.
The starting bell hadn't even rung yet when Kodachi began spinning her ribbon and releasing a blinding cloud of black rose pedals. She used to distraction to charge at Brush with one of her spiked clubs.
The bell rang, and Brush, sensing danger, leapt up and flipped over the cloud and Kodachi, throwing a gymnastics ball at the small of her back while she wasn't looking. "Think fast!"
Thinking fast is what Kodachi excelled at. She simply sidestepped the incoming projectile and spun to face her attacker.
"Good strategy my dear, but not good enough!"
Kodachi's second threw two objects toward her, that the crazed gymnast caught easily. "Let's see you deal with this!"
She thew both her 'Razor Hoop' and 'exploding Ball' at the same time, one aimed high and one aimed low.
Brush dodged both by sidestepping. But she didn't count on the ball to blow up. She was knock forward by the blast wave, off balance.
Brush was thrown forward right into Kodachi's 'Attack of a thousand clubs'. Being off balance and surprised didn't help the Chinese girl's defense at all.
"Your finished dearie! hohohohohohohohohoho!"
Brush dropped to the floor, allowing Kodachi's attack to sail over her body. She whipped her ribbon around Kodachi's feet as she finished her attack, causing her to fall over. "Gotcha!"
"Hoop!" Kodachi shouted to her second as her face had a painful reunion with the mat. She caught her Razor hoop and slashed back cutting Brush's ribbon in half.
"What a pest!" She muttered as she got back to her feet. " I have some pest control in mind."
Kodachi decides to go for her 'flying brother attack'. Flicking her ribbon out she grabbed Kunou from the audience and began swinging him like a flail at Brush.
Brush dodged the flying Kuno, who was trying to grope her as he went by, calling her his 'pigtailed beauty'. --This is getting ridiculous! But since she seems to like dirty tricks...-- Brush grinned evilly, and called for clubs, and began tossing them. What no one noticed, however was the Freeze Arrow she snuck into the attack, hitting the floor under Kodachi and coating it with ice.
Kodachi was so intent on her attack that she did not notice Brush's sorcery mixed into her attack. As she lost her footing she let go of her ribbon sending Kunou to crash painfully into the audience. Kodachi barely kept on her feet as she skidded across the ice and slammed into the side ropes.
"I've had enough of that little cheater!" Kodachi snatched some clubs from her second. "It's time to crush that little hussy!" With an angry shout Kodachi charged at Brush, intending to crush her into pulp.
Brush inwardly grinned. --Got her now!-- Brush drew a spare ribbon from her second, and gracefully flipped over Kodachi's charge, wrapping her ribbon around Kodachi's outstretched arm. With a great tug, she sent Kodachi into the air, heading out of the ring.
Kodachi sailed into the air, and to inevitable defeat. Of course the young gymnast had a plan. As she careened through the air she let out a huge piercing whistle.
The ring moved under her, seemingly on it's own volition. She landed gracefully back on the mat, laughing the entire time.
"What?!?! OK, now it's time to pay the piper, cheater!" Brush then tossed her hoop, a ball and several clubs at Kodachi, to distract her while she built up for a Bomb Diem Wind spell.
Kodachi caught the hoop and used it to deflect the other Items. Turning back to her adversary she tossed the hoop at her and she took another ribbon. "Die, Harlot!"
She managed to wrap the ribbon around Brush's neck while she was concentrating on her spell.
Brush felt the ribbon, but it was too late for that to be any good now. She called for a ball, and used the wind spell to speed the ball up, faster than Kodachi could dodge. It hit her in the stomach like a cannonball, sending her out the window and causing her to drop her ribbon.
Kodachi screamed with what little air was left in her lungs as she crashed through the window. The crash was followed by a splash as she landed in the pool outside.
She had managed to make it to the side of the pool before anyone managed to get out to her. "The Black Rose falls again!" She couldn't believe that she had been defeated. Still floating in the water she laid her head on the edge of the pool.
Brush went into a victory pose as the referee came out and announced her the winner. "Yatta!" She did a quick flip, and went to hug Akane and then Alex.
Outside, Kodachi had quietly gotten out of the pool. She didn't rave she didn't curse at the winner. She was ghostly quiet. She rung the water out of her hair and walked quietly home, not even bothering to go to the locker room first.
She had lost twice to Furinkan high school, any hope that she had for the Olympics was gone now. In her mind she could hear her mother telling her never to give up.
'The only way to be noticed is to be on a championship team.' Kodachi thought to herself. 'There's more than one way to be on a championship team.'
Kodachi went straight into her rose garden to think and plan how to come back from this embarrassing loss.
