THE TEXAS JAYCEES
Fund Raising Programs

The Texas Jaycee Foundation was founded to receive and maintain funds of real or personal property to be used exclusively for stated purposes as governed by its bylaws, which include fulfilling the purposes and ideas of the Texas Jaycees. To that end, we have initiated several fundraising programs to solicit individuals, organizations, and corporations within and outside the state of Texas. The following is a list of fund raising programs currently being pursued.

Moton Crockett Fellowship. To honor one of our tireless and most deserving members, the Texas Jaycee Foundation has developed the Moton Crockett Fellowship. For a donation of $100.00 to the Education Fund, a special, numbered plaque with the pen and ink likeness of Moton Crockett is presented to the donor at the Texas Jaycees state-level meetings held throughout the year.

Bricks and Mortor Funding. A special Building Fund has been set up to make our new home and archives area a reality. Purchase and/or renovation of a building is estimated to be between $750,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Our new home will include a Board of Directors room, a large archives room, kitchen, limited sleeping facilities, and business offices. To help in raising these needed funds, we have developed a pledge program. Your pledge may be paid in one lump sum or in three equal payments over a three year period.

Randall's Good Neighbor Program. Through a partnership with the Randall's Supermarket chain, the Texas Jaycee Foundation can receive funding. Utilizing their Remarkable Card, anyone can help us raise funds. The Foundation was assigned an exclusive account number with Randall's. You would need to go to your local Randall's and have your card keyed to our account number. Then, any time you purchase goods or services at any Randall's, present your Randall's Remarkable Card prior to your purchases being scanned, and your purchases will be recorded to our account. One percent of your purchases are then periodically sent to the Foundation. Funds received from this program will go towards the Foundation's General Fund. The account number assigned to the Foundation is 7581. If you use Randall's please go to them and sign up and spread the word. If you know of any other program such as this, please let our Webmaster know.

Grants. The Texas Jaycee Foundation is actively researching and submitting requests for grants. If you know of any possible grant, please contact us as soon as possible.
