Many prayers of this type are known, but whether they were organized into a series is difficult to tell, and seems unlikely, since none of them bear a subscript saying they are part of such a series. The magician was probably supposed to know many diverse incantations of this type for specific occasions. The instruction to qâta-ka tanaši, "raise your hand," is encountered in the mîs pî ritual.
