My name is Shanna and I was born on May 31, 1965. And if you haven't guessed I live in the Lone Star State. I was born and raised in Sulphur, Louisiana (God's Country, but that is my opinion, and no offense to Texans).

I moved to Texas about 18 years ago and live in the South East region of this big ole' state, down around the Beaumont area. I have two boys who are the greatest! Justin is 14 and Caleb is 8. They enjoy rodeoing, sports, hunting and fishing. And what boys don't right. I tell you what they sure keep you on your toes and in stitches with some of the things they can think up..lol

Now as far as myself, well I enjoy doing alot of different things. Let's see I like to go dancing - (country and western), the jitterbug is my favorite dance (I believe that has something to do with the Cajun raisen...lol), I like to cook and concoct my own recipes and put a little different twist to some basic recipes. Reading is another favorite hobby of mine also. Chatting is a big hobby of mine, (not as obsessed with it as I use to be lol) but I have met and made some terriffic on-line friends! You can usually find me in Rodeo Chat on About.com, it's a great place to chat and visit with friends.

I love the sport of Rodeo, as I have been raised around rodeos and horseshows all of my life, beginning with my grandfather, my dad, my brother and now my boys, I guess you could say it's just been a way of life for our family.
