Jason Weaver

Jason Weaver is a Chicago native that has been acting since he first appeared in a coca cola commercial and later model jobs.

He was born July 18, 1979. He's the son of Kitty Haywood.

In 1990 he appeared in the Whoopi Goldberg movie-“The Long Walk Home” and was a regular cast member in the series version of “The Women of Brewster Place”.

In 1992 he was cast as a younger version of Michael Jackson in “The Jacksons: An American Dream.” He appeared on two of the songs from the Motown soundtrack from the movie and Motown quickly signed him.

He released his first album-“Love Ambition “ that featured the talents of Rahsaan Patterson, Shanice Wilson and the now defunct musical group The Boys.

He was featured in the Disney movie “The Lion King” as Simba’s singing voice for “I can’t Wait to be King.” Disney used him again as the star of the ABC-movie-“Summer Switch.”

He has a song featured on the box office failure-“Shazzam” starring Shaq O’Neal.

He did two guest stints on WB/ABC’s Sister, Sister” and was cast in it so called spinoff-“Smart Guy” (1997-99).

He was slated to have another album in 1997. However a CD-mini single of the song “Stay with Me” was created. The album is rumored to be available overseas and appears on some websites. It was called A Secret Place.

He appeared in a Coca Cola commercial in 1997. He is a winner of 2 Young Artist Awards for The Lion KIng and The Jackson Mini Series.
