I am going to start with the name Candelier It starts with My great grandfather Adolph Candelier Adolph came from Albert Somme France when the family does not know and I am still trying to find out,He was listed as being in the Civil War under the volunteer 5th reg,Louisiana Swamp Rangers.He married my grandmother Margarete Nash on the 4th of Feb. 1871 Margarete was the daughter of John Herrich Nash and Jane Hanes of Louisiana. Adolph and Margarete had three children they are: 1.Albert Luc.b-29 Oct.1871La/d-01 Jan.1943 he married Mary Elizabeth Picou on 23 March 1895 the daughter of Alfred Picou and Louise Rose Roddy. 2.Auther b-1874 d-? 3.Irma b-8 Aug. 1876 d-19 Dec. 1892 My line is of Albert and Mary they had 12 children 1.Louise Margarete b-30 Jan.1896 d-21 March 1979 2.Adolph Herrick b-03 March 1987 d-20 May 1928 3.Hazel Agnes b-18 Nov.1899 d-16 Jan. 1978 4.Martin Clarence b-21 Nov.1901 d-07 June 1989 5 Gladys Laura b-14 April 1904 d-19 March 1978 6.Rollie Alfred b- 29 April 1906 d-02 Jan.1992 7.Elnora Essie b-05 Aug. 1908 d-14 Dec.1972 8.Twin Rose to Elnora died at birth 9.Ester Thelma b-06 Feb. 1911 d-28 March 1982 10.Twin Chester Auther to Ester d-28 March 1981 11.Mary Irma b-29 Jan 1914 d-30 Sept.1982 12 my father Russell Robert b-20 Sept 1916 d-01 July 1973 most all was born in La and died in Tx. ________________________________________ _____________ My father married my mother Lottie Baker b-15 May 1919 d-29 June 1991 on October 2, 1950 She was the daughter of Dave Baker and Sarah Francis Johnson Russell and Lottie had two kids and raised one by momma's first marriage in Liberty Texas, They are 1.James Russell b-1955 2.Mary Robertnett(me)b-1958 My sister Jonnie Francis Williams b-1948 father to Jonnie was Earnest Williams b-1896 d-1949 ________________________________________ _____________ I hope to find any and all of Adolph Candelier's family if he came with any to the U.S. or those he left behind.I do not know where he was buried only that he was born around 1837 and died 07 Feb.1878 If you have heard of this family please contact me.
