As we enter our third year as a troop we find many changes. Our troop size has changed sharply. We now only have 7 girls. My co-leader and I had scheduling conflicts and couldn't get together and plan so last year was a wing and a prayer kind of year.

We also have a new co-leader who just happens to be my sister, Michelle. She has a son but no daughters. Scouting was important to both of us as children and now we are reliving our childhood.

We are working a fast and furious pace this year. One of the great things about having a troop this size is that they fit in our cars without having to recruit parents.

By then end of the year my husband and I will both be Outdoor II trained and our troop will venture out of the unit house to cabin camp this year. Next year we will camp in wagons and the year after that tents. We are looking for activities that we can do at camp if anyone has any suggestions.
