Thanks to the miracle of technology, here are the co-gold medalists from the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, Utah. On the left are Canadian skaters Jamie Sale and David Pelletier and on the right are Russian skaters Elena Berezhnaya and Anton Sikharulidze.

Two wonderfully skated romantic numbers for the duo gold medalists. Jamie and David's "I Want To Know What Love Is" by Wynonna Judd (A remake of a Foreigner song from the 1980s) and Elena and Anton's "You Are So Beautiful" by Joe Cocker.

Canadian skating champion Jennifer Robinson and British skating champion Steven Cousins had great solo numbers as well as hamming it up on the group numbers.

What lovely moves on the ice by Yuka Sato and her husband, Jason Dungjen, skating to Oleta Adams' "Get Here". So romantic!
Please make your way thru this site VERY CAREFULLY.....*crash*....
OOPS, Now look what you've done, Jamie! (LOL)
Well, you know the old saying...some days you just gotta dance! Right, Jamie and David????

Now this is what I am talking about...Elena, Jennifer and Yuka literally dancing on the ice and in the streets!

Todd really fit the bill gliding to "Alexander's Ragtime Band" by Michael Feinstein and also to Ravel's "Bolero", evoking memories of Torvill and Dean's memorable 1984 Winter Olympics routine. And, no, the double exposure was taken by accident...didn't have my film threaded in the camera correctly the first time and had to rewind the film...thus the two Todds posted here. Go figure! LOL
Here's more random photos from the show:
Whatever Lola (aka Jennifer Robinson) wants, SHE GETS!
Kurt looks a bit lost skating to "Mr. Bojangles".
Look who gets all the girls...ALEXEI! =)
Here's why...Alexei skating to "Sway" by The Pussycat Dolls.
I loved Kyoko and John's "Vertigo"...and got pretty fortunate to get this upclose shot of the pair!

The "opening" of the "show within the show". The group number skating to The Boston Pops Orchestra's version of the Benny Goodman hit tune of the 1930s, "Sing, Sing, Sing". It was sad to see the show end so quickly, but the 20th anniversary tour was indeed A BLAST FROM THE PAST!
