5 THINGS TO DO IN CASE OF CHEST PAIN

1. Try to remain calm and focused.
2. Assess the symptoms. Any of the following should be taken seriously:

Uncomfortable pressure,fullness,squeezing or pain in the center of the chest lasting more than a few minutes.
Pain spreading to the shoulders, neck or arms.
Chest discomfort with lightheadedness, fainting, sweating, nausea or shortness of breath.
3. Take prompt action. Call Emergency Medical Services at 911 immediately.
4. Go to the nearest hospital with 24-hour cardiac care to have your symptoms checked out -- even if you believe you are at no risk for a heart attack.
5.Remember:the quicker the diagnosis, the faster the treatment and the better the outcome.
