Readin' and Stitchin'

Two of my favorite things to do, read and cross stitch, now if I could only figure out how to do both at the same time I'd be set. I've been an avid reader since an early age, and have always loved science fiction, fantasy and horror. I have a tendency to be a bit of a pack rat, and so have five or six boxes of unread books sitting in my closet, but what's worse, I can't stop buying more and more... and then there are the trips to the library. It doesn't help that I used to work part time at Half Price Books which has a _very_ liberal employee discount. I think I could open my own branch.

And then there is cross stitch. I've been into needlearts since second grade when my teacher taught me to knit. I've since stopped knitting, I hated sewing the stuff together, and one sleeve was always longer than the other, but have discovered the joys of cross stitch, hardanger, pulled thread, etc... My favorite designers include Teresa Wentzler and Just Nan.

Well, I'm back to the rotation thing again. This time however I'm actually sticking to it, and I've even completed some projects. I've recently added a page for my photos. I used to have them on Photopoint, and then Webshots but one went out of business and the other I just don't like very much.
