I am an individual who has been working in the medical industry for over 9 years. Over these years, I have gained a whole world of information in regards to Medicare guidelines, Nursing Home practices, HMO & PPO issues and much more. I decided to create a page to give others insight to some of the things I have learned. I want to stress one thing before you continue with this page:

In Medicare especially, certain aspects will vary from state to state while some aspects apply to all regions. All facts and information presented here is for the state of Texas, or (if you are familiar with Medicare Regional Codes) DMERC Region C. If you would like to e-mail me with information on other DMERC Region guidelines or other state- specific information, I encourage you to do so. All applicable e-mail received will be placed on this page as additional resources. Also, I urge you to e-mail me with any information that you feel others could benefit from. When you submit information, please tell me how you acquired the facts. Please be as specific as possible. All information will be verified to the best of my ability. My whole goal is to help others get useful information by learning from others-without having to "learn from their own mistakes", as I have seen so many people do.
