30% of your grade will be determined by your participation in several group projects. You will be assigned to a group in your discussion section. Groups will meet together weekly during the discussion section, and outside of the discussion section as often as needed to complete the group projects.

The first group project, due September 30th, will be a description of a site on campus from several different perspectives. This project does not need to include photos or graphics, but it must be published on the World Wide Web and the URL submitted to your TA by September 30th.	The second group project will be due the week of November 17th. Your group will create a web page that presents in-depth information about a topic that relates to HUMAN IMPACTS UPON THE LANDSCAPE. This web site should be informative, relevant, up-to-date, and authoratative. It should also include photographs and other illustrations.
