Hazel Phillips HAZEL DELL WARREN PHILLIPS, of Olden, TX died on Sept. 12, 2004, surrounded by her family at her home, with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, TX. Mrs. Phillips was born on Dec. 16, 1912, in Vernon, TX, to Dora Myrtle Parrish & John Wesley Warren. She graduated from school at Desdemona and married Royce Reuben Phillips in July of 1932, in Desdemona. He died in May of 1989. She was a homemaker and worked for many years at Eastland Healthcare. She was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Wanda & Sammy Isbell of Olden; son and daughter-in-law William Royce (RHS-1955) and Faye (Carwile) (RHS 1958) Phillips of Irving; daughter and son-in-law Carol Phillips (RHS-1960) & Dale Cozart (RHS-1958) of Cisco; and son and daughter-in-law Fred D'Wayne and Joyce Phillips of Cisco; brothers and sisters- in-law Marvin and Joy Marvin of Wichita Falls and Bobby Dean & Linda Warren of Hewett; sister Mildred Black of Ranger; 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grand- children, 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers, 1 sister, 1 granddaughter, & one great-granddaughter.
