MICHAEL "MIKE" RANDOLPH BLADES, 70, died on Dec. 21, 2016.
Born in Ohio on July 6, 1946 & raised in Las Vegas, NM from
2 ˝ until high school when he moved with his family back to
Ohio during the 11th grade. He was a graduate of Whitehall
Yearling High School and Dallas Baptist University; a US Army
veteran. Michael was hired by Western Electric in 1965, took
a promotion and moved to Dallas, TX in 1970 where he remained
until 1991 when he moved back to Pickerington, OH with AT&T
and resided with his family for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his father Clayton A. Blades;
sisters Maria “Cookie”, Patricia Susan and Patricia Gay.
Michael is survived by his mother Frances (Trujillo) Blades;
children MacKenzie Dallas Blades, McKaila Austyn Blades,
Michael Scott Blades, Tiffani Nicole Crawford; step-son
Eric Raymond Viar; former wife Karen Blades; sisters
Margaret (Steve) Bridge, Marie (Greg) Drummond & Linda
(Mark) Olson brother Robin Blades; grandchildren Isabella
Charlese Blades, Austin Michael Blades, Ryan Scott Blades,
Ronald William Blades and Tyler Steven Blades.
