DORIS ELAINE LANCASTER, 61 passed on to a less painful life
at her home in Garland, TX on Feb. 4, 2007.
She was born on August 15, 1945 in Garden City, KS to Orion
H. and Janice (Lyons) Towles. She moved to Colorado with
her family in 1947. She was chosen Ft. Collins Jr. Miss
in 1962 and graduated from Ft. Collins (Colorado) High School
in 1963. She moved to Texas in the early 1970's where she met
Allen D. Lancaster. They were married in October of 1974.
She is predeceased by her husband Allen and both her parents.
Doris was employed as an Executive Assistant at the former
Lucent Technologies in Mesquite, TX from 1977 until her
retirement. Her sister, Pat Jones, also worked at the Dallas
Works.
