DAVID ORLE ALLSUP, 50, passed from this life on July 9,
2002, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX.
He was born in Atlanta, TX on Dec. 9, 1951 to Erma
Sue Allsup & the late David Brice Allsup. David
graduated from Ranger High School and Ranger College
and was a member of the Sassafrass Band where he played
bass guitar and saxophone. He worked for Key Insulation
Company in Wichita Falls and was a member of the First
United Methodist Church of Ranger.
Survivors at the time of his death include his wife,
Cherissa Sharp of Eastland; two sons, 11 month old
Brycen E.J. and David Kyle of Ranger; daughter, Jessica
Renteria and husband, Chris of Sugar Land; step-daughter,
Debbie Lynn Ensor and husband, David of Eastland; four
grandchildren, Chasity, Chelsea, Merick and Madison;
mother, Sue Allsup of Ranger; sister, Sandra Allsup
Owen (RHS-1962) of Arlington; former wife, Joan Allsup
of Dallas; & numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles,
and friends.
A sister, Brenda Allsup, & his dad, David Brice Allsup,
preceded him in death.
