LYNN DOUGLAS BROWNING, 58, passed away on Aug. 29,
2005, in Duncanville, TX.
Doug was born July 16, 1946, in Ranger, TX, & was
in the Ranger High School Class of 1964. His parents
were Ruth Whitefield & Thomas L. Browning. He had
a brother, Rufus Jack Browning (RHS-1944), and two
sisters, Tommie Ruth Browning Norton (RHS-1946) of
Paris, TX and Sharon Browning Davis (RHS-1961)
of Cisco, TX.
He retired as Texas history teacher and coach from
Byrd Middle School after 30 years. He was employed
by Bass Pro Shop at the time of his death.
Doug was survived by wife Glenna; daughters Kim
Edwards and Angie Irwin and stepsons, Trent Dagen
& Daniel Dagen.
