JERRY WAYNE COLE, 78, passed away April 13,
2023, with burial at Merriman cemetery near Ranger,
TX.
Jerry was born in Ranger, TX on Nov. 16, 1944, to
Clarence Cole Jr. & Maxine Dawson. He attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 1963 & Ranger
Jr. College. Jerry married Betty Ann in Sept. of
1967 at Stephenville, TX. Jerry worked as an
environmental service man and after he retired,
spent every chance he could outdoors.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Betty Ann Cole of
Stephenville, his children Chris Cole & wife Tammy
of Stephenville, Janna Cole & husband Greg Preston
of Granbury, TX, his grandchildren Joshua Cole &
wife Sarah Cole, Kerstin Cole, and Jayce Martin of
Stephenville, and his great-grandchild, Greyson
Cole of Stephenville. He is also survived by his
sister-in-law, Shirley Rose Cole (RHS-1969) of
Ranger. His brother was Jimmy Cole (RHS-1969).
