WILLIAM "BILL" GRIFFITH, 47, died in 1989 at a local
hospital after a brief illness, with interment in
Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX.
He was born in Ranger on Nov. 26, 1941, the son of
Minnie Lou James, he attended school in Breckenridge
and Ranger, graduated from Olden High School & attended
Ranger Jr. College. He was married to Shirley Wymer
(RHS-1956). A barber and real estate broker, he was a
member of the Mesquite & Rusk Street Church of Christ
and worked with the Little League for many years.
Bill had two sons including William Dango Griffith
(RHS-1992) & a daughter, Angela Denise Griffith. He
was in the Ranger High School Class of 1960 but
moved to another school before graduation.
