BETTY ANN YOUNG HOLLAR, 58, died September 6, 1998,
at her home in Austin. Interment was in Willow Cemetery.
Mrs. Hollar was born on Feb. 22, 1940, in Strawn. She
married Kenneth E. Griffin, and he preceded her in
death in 1956. She later married Lee E. Hollar in
1965, and he preceded her in death in 1990. Betty Ann
attended Ranger Junior College and Columbia College
and later graduated from Draughon's Business Colleges,
Medical Assistant School. She worked in the medical
field as a clinic and lab manager for about 30 years.
She was a Baptist. She had two sons, Kenneth Earl
Griffin, Jr. of Austin, and Clifton Lee Griffin of
Panama City, FL; and one daughter Kathryn Anne
Warren.
