OTIS RAY JACOBY, 37, a lifelong resident of Ranger,
was pronounced dead at the scene of an accident in
Ranger in November, 1974, while employed by Well
Fluids Corp., a drilling mud storage company. He
was apparently helping to push-start a stalled fork
lift when it turned over on him. Interment was at
Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger.
Otis was born Oct. 1, 1937, in Ranger and married Norma
Jean Mapier in Oct. of 1957. His parents were Margarite
Hubbard and Walter Jacoby. He was a truck driver for Well
Fluids Corp. He had one son and two daughters.
