JANICE PAGE KRANTZ, 81, of Lake Leon, TX
passed away Aug. 2, 2015 in her home with her
family at her side, with burial at Evergreen
Cemetery in Ranger, TX.
Janice was a graduate of Ranger High School in
the Class of 1951 & Ranger College. At RHS, she
was a drum major. She worked many years in the
medical profession at Eastland Memorial Hospital
and B&W Clinic. She was a member of the First
Baptist Church in Ranger.
In younger years, a cowgirl at heart, she had a
passion for her horse “Romeo,” and barrel racing
and rodeos. She loved animals and was always
"taking in the strays." She loved gardening and
planting her "zinnias" and tomato plants every
spring. She had a quick wit, a gentle nature and
was a beautiful. loving mother, grandmother and
great-grandmother.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband Jim,
parents, Carl & Alma Lester (RHS-1927) Page, and
one brother, Jerald Page (RHS-1949).
She is survived by her two daughters, Jane and
Judy and one son Jeff. She is also survived by
five grandchildren Jason & wife Ashley, Robbie,
Michael, Justin, Cameron and five great-grand-
children, McKenzie, Chesnie, Kason, Jacob Lee
and Kinley.
