DOROTHY LEE SQUYRES MILLER, 74, of Ranger,
TX passed away on Nov. 22, 2003, with burial in the
Bullock Cemetery near Ranger.
Mrs. Miller was born on Aug. 17, 1929 in Ranger to W.L.
and Cordie Leo Stephenson Squyres in Ranger. She married
Winferd Nathaniel Miller in May of 1947, at Ranger; he
preceded her in death in 1980. She was a homemaker and
enjoyed painting, music, dancing, and playing cards.
Mrs. Miller is survived by daughter, Jean Ainsworth and
Billy of Ranger; son, Truman Miller (RHS-1968) and Janie
of Ranger; brother, Don Squyres of Breckenridge; grand-
children, Sherry Roberts and Gordon of Eastland, Mendy
Griffin and Biff of Weatherford, Waylon Ainsworth and
tephanie of Lipan, Tony Miller and Stella of Weatherford,
and Cindy Miller Merka (RHS-1994) & Eric of Elgin; great-
grand-children, Shelby Griffin, Tyler Miller, Grant Merka,
Nicole Miller, Blake Merka, Thomas Miller, Parker Roberts,
Julie and Cassidy Griffin, Tandy Miller, and Wriley
Ainsworth; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister,
Doris Squyres Highsmith (RHS-1950).
