Jeane Crawley Milliken Charles Milliken BILLLIE JEANE CRAWLEY MILLIKEN, 87, longtime resident of Weatherford, TX, passed away Dec. 22, 2014, with burial at the City Greenwood Cemetery in Weatherford. Jeane was born in Ranger, TX on Dec. 13, 1927, to A.E. & Ethel Crawley. She attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1945 & was a RHS cheerleader. She attended Texas Christian University graduating with a degree in education in 1949. She taught school in Wichita Falls and Fort Worth. Jeane married Charles C. Milliken of Weatherford in December of 1954, and they had three children. She taught at RHS in 1957 to replace a teacher who had moved away. Jeane was a loving wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grand- mother. She enjoyed traveling, bridge, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She was a longtime member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Weatherford. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband of 50 years, Charles Milliken, also brothers Sterling Price Crawley (RHS-1932) & Deane Crawley (RHS-1937), & sister Anita Crawley Perry (RHS-1934). Survivors at the time of her death: daughter, Ann Bolton and her husband, Steve; sons, Chuck Milliken and his wife, Dana, and Steve Milliken and his wife, Merry; grandchildren, Kirk Bolton and his wife, Leslie, Kyle Bolton, Chris Milliken and his fiancée, Emily Paul, Garrett Milliken, Grant Milliken, Jake Milliken & Landry Milliken; great-grandchild, Avery Bolton. HUSBAND: CHARLES C. MILLIKEN, 79, passed away Dec. 31, 2004, with burial in the Old Greenwood City Cemetery, Weatherford, TX. Charles was born June 2, 1925, in Weatherford to Charles Barthold Milliken & Gertrude Hartnett Milliken. He attended Weatherford schools, St. Edward's University and the University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 1947 with a degree in aeronautical engineering. He served as an ensign in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946, after graduating from Midshipmen's School at Notre Dame University. Charles joined the C.D. Hartnett Company in 1948, working in Ranger. While in Ranger, TX, he was president of the Lions Club, Jaycees and Chamber of Commerce. Charles married Jeane Crawley (RHS-1945) of Ranger in 1954 and they had three children. The family moved to Weatherford in 1964 and Charles became president and general manager of the C.D. Hartnett Company in 1970. He was a member of the Weatherford Noon Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce and the Weatherford Water and Electric board. He was president of the Texas Wholesale Grocers Association and a member of the National Association of Wholesale Grocers and Frosty Acres Brands Inc. Charles was a lifelong member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Weatherford. Charles was a devoted husband and father. He was loved and admired by his family, friends and company employees. His guidance and leadership were an inspiration to all. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jane Maulsby. Survivors at the time of his death: wife of 50 years, Jeane Crawley Milliken; daughter, Ann Bolton and husband, Steve; sons, Charles B. Milliken and wife, Dana, Stephen E. Milliken and wife, Merry; grandsons, Kirk and Kyle Bolton, Christopher, Garrett and Grant Milliken.
