MARY LOUISE BOND CHRISTIAN, 72, formerly of Iraan,
died in Richardson, TX on March 25, 1999, with
burial in Richland Springs Cemetery near San Saba.
Mrs. Christian was born in Ranger, TX on Aug. 12, 1926,
and raised near the Colony Community. She graduated
from Ranger High School and attended Ranger Junior
College. She was the widow of Noel Dabbs (RHS-1944),
whom she married in Ranger in 1945, and of Ward Christian
(law enforcement officer in West Texas), whom she married
in 1958. Mrs. Christian served as County and District
Clerk in Crane and as Justice of the Peace in Iraan
for 15 years. She moved to Eastland in 1993. Her
community activities included Sunday School teacher
in Seminole, church secretary in Crane, and she sang
in the choir in Eastland First Baptist Church. She
was a member of the Texas Justice of the Peace and
Constables Association.
Survivors at the time of her death include two sons,
Dwight Dabbs, of Eastland and Paul Dabbs of Plano;
one daughter, Marilyn Christian of Abilene; one sister,
Madelyn Bond Everett (RHS-1953) of Dewey, Ariz.; & six
grandchildren.
