WILLIAM J. "BILL" ANDERSON, 72, of Round Rock,
TX, formerly of Killeen & Ranger, TX passed away on
Nov. 10, 1999.
Bill was born Aug. 7, 1927 in Ranger to Thomas and
Bertha Anderson. He graduated from Ranger High School,
Ranger Jr. College,& Baylor University. He served on
a destroyer in the U.S. Navy during WWII & in the U.S.
Marines during the Korean War. Bill owned Anderson
Chevrolet in Ranger for many years and remained in the
automotive industry all of his professional life. He
was married to Valerie J. Leonard (RHS-1945). They had
three daughters Candace Jean Anderson Sproul (RHS-1971),
Jana Patrice Anderson (RHS-1972), & Melissa Anderson.
Timothy Anderson was their son. Bill was related to
Hubert Anderson (RHS-1940).
