EDNA JEAN MORTON MCKELVAIN, 75, of Gulfport,
MS, died on May 14, 2001. She attended Ranger
High School in the Class of 1943 at Ranger, TX.
A registered nurse, she was married to John L.
McKelvain, also of the RHS-1943.
She was also survived by her sister, June Ann
Morton Bryan (RHS-1949) of Plainview, TX and
a son, Ken Morton McKelvain. Edna Jean was
born on Sept. 28, 1925, the daughter of the
late Gorman and Gladys Melissa Boyles Morton,
longtime Ranger residents. Another sister,
Eloise, also attended RHS.
