JACK CROCKETT BONEY, 68, was born April 11,
1925 to Jewell Atkins & Dave C. Boney and died
in his sleep on Sept. 10, 1993, at Lancaster,
TX. He graduated from Ranger High School in
1943 at Ranger, TX. Afterward returning from
WWII, he graduated from Ranger Jr. College on
a basketball scholarship. He later moved to
Dallas and married Lillian Adams (RHS-1945).
They had four children: Brenda Carol Adair,
James Michael, Rodney Dale and Bruce Allen.
Jack went into the construction business, played
golf and fished. He was a successful businessman
for 30 years, retiring at 55 and traveled the world
with his wife. He had two brothers, Gene Boney (RHS-
1946) and Delbert Boney (RHS-1941), & one sister
Delma Boney Bullard (RHS-1940) of Wichita Falls.
